One of my best friends(who happens to be a guy) and I hang out a lot, and I can tell he likes me, but he's never said it. While at lunch, he was originally sitting with us, his real friends, when she told him to come sit with her. When he came back 10 minutes later, she dragged him back again. He looks like he might like her, but I am almost sure he's doing this to try and make me jealous. Problem is, it's working. But I have a boyfriend who I'm in love with! Do you think I actually have feelings for my friend? Or am I just mad at the girl for taking away a good friend? Don't ask me, I can't tell. So far it seems i am the only one with the patience to read a large paragraph based on the molecular genetic flaws made by god or by evolution. The answer, of course, depends on the person answering the question. i am not an avid reader of the bible and i don't study religion very closely but i will say this: God would give genetic flaws to some people simply for a bit of variety. If everyone in the world were perfect, there would be no point in working towards anything in life. Why do some recessed lights randomly shut off?

I have 2 recessed "high-hat" lights in my basement bathroom. They seem to randomly shut themselves off and then turn back on. They are on the same switch, but shut off at different times. Are they overheating then cooling down and coming back on? There is no insulation near them.

As long as you have B grades and above, you will be able to get into a good college. Don't worry about that 82% grade. Colleges won't care about it too much. They look at the whole picture not the details. The IB cles should be impressive enough for them. Colleges understand that students don't excel in all topics. A B grade is not the end of the world. I got A's and B's in college and went to a private university. You will be fine.

Every couple of months (used to be every month) I get very severe cramps. It's horrible. The pain is so bad all I can do is curl up in a ball on my bed...and yes, it's made me cry before lol. i have a real hard time believing that there is anything that is purely organic. I thought i was raising organic veggies, then i stopped and though. the cow manure i put on it came from a cow that recieved vacinations and wormers (no hormones), the chicken litter was alright i think, and the cotton seed meal came from cotton that was surely fertilized with petro. byproduct, insectacide, herbacide, and who knows what else, and the seed that was planted had been treated to germinate better. hmmm, should have used good old 10-20-10 and ammonia nitrate. organic veggies are more expensive and their not as perfect looking as nonorganic veggies. your going to have spots, bug bites, ground in dirt, and other imperfections. you really want to avoid anything with the hormones though. have you ever wondered why little girls are starting to have their periods at 9 and 10 now, or why there has been and major surge in autism in the last 20 ro 30 years. thats about how long we've been putting hormones in our slaughter calves. thats why me and my family raise our own meat, especially chicken and beef.

7 month old still wakes up in middle of night?

My 7 month old baby boy has never slept through the entire night. He would wake up at 4 or 5 for a bottle. He is now waking up at 2 and then again at 5. I always feed him a stage 2 jar of baby food between 6 and 7 pm, I bathe him after that, and then an hour later I feed him 6 ounces of formula. He falls asleep around 9:00 pm. yet he wakes up at 2 am crying. He won't take the pacifier. The only way he'll go back to sleep is if I feed him. Should I be feeding him like a newborn? I don't know what to do. Anyone else experienced this before?

There is this very attractive girl that has become a co-worker of mine. I live in a small town and I know she has a rather infamous reputation of being promiscuous. All my co-workers are aware of this reputation and one man in particular likes to call names behind her back. I've heard names such as "slut, cheating , dumb ***, and prostitute wanna be." I had blue neon's under my car and today when I was backing out of my garage the penger side neon got loose and fell down and I ran it over by mistake. I checked my car and everything was ok on it besides the fact I had a broken neon to clean up so I just swept it up and put it in a trash bag by itself and then put the bag in a box. Afterwards my attention got drawn away and I didn't have time to wash my hands like I know I should have and about 3-4 hours later I ate and after that I realized I still didn't wash my hands, I don't know if this is bad or not? When the neon broke it was kinda rainy and cold outside and they haven't been on in weeks and when the tube broke there didn't seem to be any liquid coming out of the tube and I didn't see any liquid on my hands either, all I saw was what appeared to be a broken white container inside the plastic tube that held it all together. I guess what I am trying to ask is what happens if you break a neon and is there a certain amount of exposure that you must make with it before you should be concerned? Hi, I have a lot of experience reading college applications, and I have a few suggestions. First, though, your topic is compelling and you support it well with specific instances from your experiences. So fundamentally, it is very sound. My suggestions: Make sure, as you probably know, that you tailor your essay to what the college asks. Some have open-ended essay topics, and others ask you to respond to a specific topic. If you don't do that, your application can be ignored. As for your essay, itself, there are a few areas where I had trouble following what you were saying. In paragraph 2, it's hard to tell that your 9 years were spent in Yunan rather than in the U.S. A tense change ("For more than 9 years, I lived...). The 1st sentence of the next graph, "From reading novels...." isn't a sentence and breaks the flow of what you are saying. The sentence after the eye incident, beginning "I quickly..." is too complicated too follow, and you should probably replace the words that require quotes. Finally, it would help to have a native English speaker read this for grammar, especially past/present tense, as there are several errors and they are the type of errors that are very hard for a second-language speaker (no matter how proficient) to get right. Even college professors I work with who speak beautiful English, make these mistakes when they write. Good luck!

Okay, me and my b/f were fighting and having a bad night. Told him I could not take it anymore and that I was going to take him back to his mom. We live about 2 to 2 and half hours away from his mom. Well we were on the road, still fighting, I tried to p a semi- smaller size-like a dump truck- and he was coming into my lane a bit. So I slowed down so I could get behind him since I was afraid he could not see me and was either falling asleep or trying to get over. I was driving a small dodge neon. And I don't trust it so I would not speed too much... hence not speeding up to get around him instead of falling back. Anyway, he clipped my right fender and blew out my tire. I managed to get to the shoulder of the ramp. At this point my b/f was really screaming at me and we didn't have the cell phone. The driver never got out, so I started to walk to look for a phone. Luckily a lady was coming up behind me and offered to help. If she was not older I would not have gotten in the car... but felt it was okay. So we drove around for a bit but could not find a phone and the area was HORRIBLE. There was no way even if I did, would I have gotten out. So we went back and there was no sign of the car. Now, my b/f had stayed with the car. He had been drinking, but only had 2-3 beers at the time, so we wasn't drunk. The truck driver radioed it in ( i found this out later) to his company who called the police. I couldn't have been gone for more then 25 mins. I thought he had ditched me. Yes, he has done it beofre... so its not a stretch to believe other wise. The lady offered to take me somewhere, but I didnt know anything around there and neither did she, so I gave her some money to take me home. About an hour away. The next morning, I got a call from bf saying they arrested him and impounded the car. I went and picked him up and went to see what was going on with the car. I talked, wrote out my statement, and they said it was fine,. Today, I got a call from a Det. that said he was going to charge me with obrstuction of justice for lying since they knew my b/f was driving. I guess the truck driver didn't see me. They never did a soberity test or breath test on him... he wasn't drunk they said. I went to explain what happen right after I found out that the police did show and he didn't ditch me. There were no witnesses, the lady who picked me up didn't see the accident, and I never got her last name ( if I did I do not remember it). The cop said since I don't have any details ( time of wreck, the lady's name, or the fact that I did not comtact that night) he knows I am lying. Says he will charge me and come get me with the warrant to arrest me. So, I know I should have stayed, but I wasn't running, I was trying to get help. IF I knew I would have to prove my innonence, I would have gotten the lady's last name, addy,and plate number. I also left all my info in the car for my b/f in case the cops got there before I got back ( the insurance and other car papers). So, what do I do? I told the truth, but the cop says that since the truck driver never seen me ,then I couldn't have been there. I think thats unfair. I never seen him either, but I knew he was there. And my b/f story is the same as mine. So IF they do charge me, what can happen? Or what should I do? Also, the cops say he is coaching me along with the whole story, but i gave my statement over the phone before speaking with him. Any and all help would be great.

SHI TZU Dog. Eucalyptus oil for Fleas? Benedryl,Is there something better?

The fleas are so bad this year, everytime I take my shi tzu outside he gets fleas. I keep giving him baths to kill the fleas. I started him on the Program flea pills last month but it doesn't seem to keep him from getting fleas that want to hang out on him. I think that the program pills only kill flea larva. I have heard that eucalyptus oil will kill the fleas and also leave a scent on the dog that fleas don't like. Has anyone had success with this? If anyone out there has a good suggestion for fleas I am open to them. My dog seems to have the allergies to the fleas and is bitting his backside and tail all up. I have read on the net that it is safe to give dogs benedryl. I have been giving him 1/2 capsul of childrens benedryl for the itching and it helps some, but not totally.Is there anything other than benedryl that works? I am wondering if anyone out there has found the flea solution for a Shi Tzu?

Stick with native fishes, especially if the pond is somehow connected to another body of water. Native minnows are fine, along with something that will eat them. As far as the insects, reptiles, and amphibians go, they will arrive naturally if the pond is not disturbed. Definitely, do not release koi. I wouldn't be too keen on the gars either. Decide what you want from the pond (sport? food?) and pick the fish on that basis.

Help please. Just got a Dyson DC01. The tube section seems to have a loss of suction, even after everything has been cleaned out. I've taped up the lower rubber valves, can't see any holes in the tube and stripped it down to the motor; which visually looks fine. This is so simple but my mom used to do this and I would beg for it. You take that left over roast and veggies - slice or pull apart the roast and place it in a cerole dish to fit. Place the onion and veggies on the top and if you have any gravy, put that on top of it all. Grate cheese and place a good bit on top of all of that. Place in 350 degree oven until cheese melts and it gets bubbly. Oh my gosh is it good. Maybe use some green beans and corn as a side.

My grandma is having a very difficult time at the townhouse where she lives, and this may lead to a long description of the problem, but I'm trying to help her decide just what sorts of legal action need to take place. Some new neighbors moved in about six months or so ago, during the time the townhouses were going through a landlor transition (some new people bought the places). My grandma has dogs, and there is a field out back that she takes them into to poop. It's owned by a grocery store, and the owner has told my grandma to her face that she CAN take her dogs to poop there. Apparently, the neighbors don't like that she does that, so one day, as my grandma is getting into her car to go to work, she discovers dog poop packed under her car door handle. That was the start of everything. Since then, the neighbor's kids throw at the side of her house (she lives at the end), they've knocked over plants, birdfeeders, and even her concrete birdbath. The mother even went so far as to physically ault my brother's girlfriend isn't even 5 feet tall by grabbing her face. I know for a fact that my grandma can press charges against this ***** (pardon my French, but this is my GRANDMA this woman is haring!) and I've been trying to talk her into doing so, so she's having me find out everything I can so she build a solid case. Now, the question is, what is the obligation of the landlord in all this? My grandma has gone to them several times seeking some sort of help and they literally told her, "So?" All they care about is the money and my grandma is thinking about stopping paying the rent because she feels so threatened. She says she can't sleep during the day (she works overnights, so needs her sleep during the day), they swear at her and our family that lives with her. I'm sick of hearing about it, because it should never have happened in the first place--my grandma is perfectly harmless and keeps to herself.
