He hates her, so why does he hug her?

There is this very attractive girl that has become a co-worker of mine. I live in a small town and I know she has a rather infamous reputation of being promiscuous. All my co-workers are aware of this reputation and one man in particular likes to call names behind her back. I've heard names such as "slut, cheating , dumb ***, and prostitute wanna be." He talks of her in a very disdainful manner and says he despises girls like her. This being said, she likes to cuddle up to him. He never says a thing to her face, allows her to hug him and hugs back, and he never stops her from touching him (Never really in a ual manner or area, just maging his shoulders, tickling his back, petting his head, and very long hugs). I have observed his behavior for some time now and I'm hoping someone could explain this to me because I'm confused by his behavior. On some level it, obviously, does bug me because I feel he is acting a bit two-faced, so please, could someone give me a better explanation of his behavior?
