7 month old still wakes up in middle of night?

My 7 month old baby boy has never slept through the entire night. He would wake up at 4 or 5 for a bottle. He is now waking up at 2 and then again at 5. I always feed him a stage 2 jar of baby food between 6 and 7 pm, I bathe him after that, and then an hour later I feed him 6 ounces of formula. He falls asleep around 9:00 pm. yet he wakes up at 2 am crying. He won't take the pacifier. The only way he'll go back to sleep is if I feed him. Should I be feeding him like a newborn? I don't know what to do. Anyone else experienced this before?
