"Anti-communism is anti-Semitism." - 'The Jewish Voice' (1941) - So was communism Jewish?
In Leviticus, God imposes a socialist type economy on the Jews. Each family was awarded an equal amount of land and wealth. For 50 years they could invest and spend their money, sell their land if they chose and do pretty much do what they wanted. However, after 50 years, each family was returned to it's original situation with that same amount of land and money, so they all started over. That way, no family got to rich and powerful, and no family got too poor and destitute. The result was a thriving middle cl. In addition, God also commanded that King Solomon help the poor and defend them against the rich. King Solomon was the head of the government at that time. So in essence, God wanted King Solomon's government to help the poor. All of this sounds pretty socialist to me, and since communism is based on pure socialism, communism cannot be rooted in evil because God is incapable of imposing evil things on people.
