Cologne advice needed...longevity/projection problems!!!?

Hi everyone I wanted to get your opinions on which colognes have high projection and longevity, For some reason colognes FRY on my skin and if others cant smell the cologne then there is no purpose of buying it. For example one of my favorite fragrances is burberry's brit, but i am lucky if i can smell it after an hour of wearing it. I know about pulse points, and also that even though you cant smell it it is possible others can (they dont, i've asked). I know there are a lot of colognes out there that have these qualities, but im looking for something on the lines of burberry brit or touch to gauge my taste (sophisticated, masculine) Thanks guys!
