What do I need to get AC power with an inverter or converter or something?

I'm not sure what I need. I want to plug in Crock Pots to an AC source at a Relay For Life booth. We can't have extention cords or generators. I can't hook it up to my car battery, either. I also don't want to spend a fortune. Can you suggest what might work? Thank you!
